After dating for eight years and being high school and college sweethearts, Larry and Cheryl Schroeder were married in 1986. They are the parents of two amazing, beautiful children and grandparents to three precious grandchildren. They find great joy spending time with family and spending time in God’s creation; hunting, fishing, hiking and biking. 

The Schroeders are high school teachers and have taught and coached junior high/high school (Larry several years in college) for over thirty years. They have ministered to, and mentored individuals and families for decades. They are credentialed through the Heartland Alliance, a credentialing arm of Heartland Church in Iowa.

Larry is an author and speaker, teaching and preaching both behind the pulpit and at various other gatherings and events. He is also a Marketplace Chaplain who ministers to employees in designated businesses.

The Schroeders are passionate about prayer and pouring into people. They desire to help others understand the power in the Word of God and how to have victory in spiritual warfare. They have extensive experience in pre-marital counseling, as well as ministering to others through the Freedom Ministry program. Every Sunday they have the privilege and honor to pray for others as Altar Ministry team members. They are also Life Group coordinators and leaders, teaching and mentoring fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

Their desire is to equip God’s people to learn how to resist the devil and his tactics through prayer and the power of God’s Word, understand the authority God has given Christians to have victory over the enemy, and to contend for yourself and family with unwavering faith!
